Could you picture, for a moment, a woman on the brink of making the hardest decision of her life?
As the holiday season approaches, many of us look forward to gathering with family and friends. However, there will be loved ones missing around the Christmas tree this year for families affected by addiction.
Thanks to your continued support, men have received assistance on their addiction recovery journey this year. But not only are you touching these men’s lives you are also helping their families. These men are husbands, sons, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles.
We invite you to read Cristy’s story and see the difference your support makes in the lives of addicts’ families.
Cristy found herself pregnant and the father was an addict. When she met him, he was fresh out of a program and had been clean for a month, but relapse was right around the corner. She knew her next decision would set the course of her life.
Two years later she was tired of the battle and felt hopeless, so she surrendered her family to God. Dan entered ROFM, and for Cristy she felt like she could breathe for the first time in years. She didn’t have to worry about getting that dreaded phone call. God had answered her prayers.
Cristy says without ROFM she doesn’t believe Dan would still be alive. She credits the program with showing him Christ’s love and showing him who he was created to be. But ultimately, she gives all the glory to God. Her and Dan have since married and are raising their daughter together.
Thank you for playing a crucial role…in restoring families. Your support of ROFM allows men to get the help they need on their addiction recovery journey and restore their family relationships.
Today Cristy says the journey was worth it and she has learned no one is hopeless, everyone can be saved.
It’s only possible with the help of support like yours to show these broken families that no one is hopeless…families can be restored.
This Christmas when you give to ROFM your generous donation will:
Fund Christian based addiction recovery
Provide housing, a safe and stable environment is essential to recovery
Cover the costs of individual and group therapy and other vital services
You can provide hope, help, and healing not only to men suffering from addiction but for their families. You can give the best gift ever, the Gospel, to these men and their families.
