What can you expect when you come through our doors?

The Experience

An Atmosphere of Acceptance

You will be welcomed with open arms into an understanding, loving family where “mercy triumphs over judgement,” (James 2:13b, ESV). You will never have to feel alone. The light of Christ’s love will quickly begin to expose and outshine the darkness of addiction in your life. Joy will begin to fill your heart once again.

Affirmation and Accountability

Your mentors and fellow students will surround you with constant support as you leave the bondage of addiction behind you and learn to embrace Biblical principles. Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Your ROFM brothers will walk with you, cheering you on toward freedom.

Holistic Health

Your physical, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and financial needs will be met! You can expect three nutritious meals a day, a clean and inviting living environment, stimulating Biblical studies, prayer time, educational classes, caring mentors, fun activities, lasting friendships, transportation, the tools to find and maintain employment, and so much more!

Responsibility and Relationships

Simple tasks and responsibilities, such as keeping your room clean, will give you a foundation of stability and sense of accomplishment. Daily interactions with mentors and fellow students will grow into vital, life-long friendships. You will enjoy venturing out together on excursions, attending Bible studies, caring for each other’s needs, and consistently lifting each other up in prayer.

Life Skills Development

You will be empowered with the tools to eventually re-enter your community successfully. While still living here with the support of your ROFM family, gainful employment can be attained. Jobs are available at our Freedom Thrift store, as well as other great places in our community like Shady Maple. Additionally, you will be introduced GED classes, reading and writing supports, family education and resources, and financial management skills.

Reconnection

The isolation of addiction will be replaced by restored relationships and wonderful opportunities! Family members can become involved in your freedom journey. You can utilize social services and have access to the internet at our computer center, allowing you to enroll in college classes and apply for employment.

“I found true friends at ROFM, a group of men that I love and that love me. I’ve seen husbands restored to wives, I’ve seen fathers restored to children, I’ve seen miracles and transformations take place that only God can do. I have found abundant life here at Revelations of Freedom Ministries. Freedom is found in Christ.”

Here’s what Pam, the grateful mom of a transformed ROFM graduate, has to say:

“The day we drove over 500 miles to take our son Joshua to ROFM to begin his recovery program, little did we know it would be our lives they would change. Thank you, ROFM, for giving us back our son, along with our peace, sleep, joy, and laughter. To God be the glory!”
