Dan's Freedom Story
I come from generations of alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and mental health issues. I am a first-generation believer in Jesus Christ, and He choose me to be the generational curse breaker, all this ends with me.
I struggled with addiction to heroin, cocaine, and crack for over 27 years; in and out of detoxes, rehabs, and incarcerations. But this wasn’t the end of my story, God had a plan for me.
In 2018, I found myself at Revelations of Freedom Ministries. There I found love and freedom in Jesus Christ. He broke the chains of my addiction. I learned to build relationships with my fellow students, ROFM staff, community leaders, and local churches. He restored my family, and I am thankful to be raising my youngest in a home filled with God’s love.
Today I serve as a life coach at ROFM and can use my experience to help the men in the program. I also have a passion to minister to those in Kensington. God has redeemed my life so I can spread the gospel to those hurting from addictions.
